Verification station
AI document processing is closely connected with the verification station. The verification station is used to validate the accuracy of data extracted during the document processing itself.
Regarding the verification station settings: you can define who is authorized to verify documents. This can be either the job owner, anyone with access to the workflow, a group, or a department. In the case of a group or department, you must specify the respective group or department.
You can also set a verification threshold. AI operates with a certain confidence level, meaning it is a certain percentage confident that the extracted value is correct. The threshold allows you to configure, for example, that if the AI is 60% confident, verification is required, and if it is 80% confident, no action is needed.
Additionally, there is an option to set up a notification email that alerts the user when a document is awaiting verification.
Once the verification station is enabled, a verification station widget appears in the OptimiDoc Workplace. This widget is used to verify or delete processed documents.
When you click on "Verify," the document and its extracted parameters are displayed. Here, you can check the accuracy of the extracted parameters from the document. In the top-right menu, you can use buttons to approve individual documents.
If a cross icon appears—indicating validation failure—the system will not allow the document to be approved until a valid value is entered.
