OptimiDoc Cloud Applications

OptimiDoc Cloud consists of several applications that work together to deliver the full platform functionality, covering client‑side printing, secure cloud connectivity, migration from legacy environments, and identity synchronisation.

  • OptimiDoc Cloud Client (OCC)
A desktop application deployed to all end‑user workstations. It manages the deployment and configuration of printers, drivers, and print settings, and handles the secure reception and delivery of print jobs to the appropriate physical printers or pull‑print virtual spoolers.

  • OptimiDoc Cloud Node
A Windows‑based service or Raspberry Pi appliance that establishes a secure communication channel between the local infrastructure and the OptimiDoc Cloud datacentre. It is primarily used to enable print release from mobile devices, deliver documents to local storage, and support devices or environments that require direct communication within the local network.

  • OptimiDoc Printer Migration Tool
A tool used to import printers, drivers, and print settings from the Windows operating system. It simplifies the migration of printers configured on local print servers to OptimiDoc Cloud and allows administrators to upload and manage custom printer drivers and print settings.

  • OptimiDoc Cloud Active Directory Tool
A synchronisation tool used to import users from a local Active Directory into OptimiDoc Cloud, ensuring consistent identity management between on‑premises environments and the cloud platform.
