OptimiDoc Cloud Node

The OptimiDoc Cloud Node is a locally deployed OptimiDoc component that acts as a secure print spooling and processing bridge between user workstations, printing devices, and the OptimiDoc Cloud platform.

It is not a cloud service itself. The Node is installed on‑premises or in a customer‑controlled environment and establishes a secure communication channel between the customer’s local infrastructure and the OptimiDoc Cloud datacentre. This enables scenarios that require direct local network access while preserving centralised cloud management and control.

The OptimiDoc Cloud Node can be deployed as:

  • a Windows‑based service, or

  • a Raspberry Pi appliance

The role and configuration are clearly described in the section: OptimiDoc Cloud Node management
