Sharp - Device Authentication configuration

This section shows how to configure the device authentication. If you do not want to lock the device, proceed to the print&scan application configuration section (Sharp - Print&Scan application configuration ).

External Accounting Application Settings

  1. Open the printer’s web interface and sign in as an administrator.

  2. In the System Settings section, select Sharp OSA Settings.

  3. In section External Accounting Application Settings enable External Account Control.

  4. Fill the External Accouting Application Settgins

    1. Enable Server 1.

    2. Set Application Name to OptimiDoc Cloud.

    3. For Address for Application UI use the following URL:
      https://<datacentre>.optimidoc.cloud/mfp/Auth/Sharp/Login?code=COMPANY-IDENTIFICATION-CODE&sn=SHARP-SERIAL-NUMBER&lang=<lang>

    4. For Address for Web Service use the following URL:
      https://<datacentre>.optimidoc.cloud/mfp/Auth/Sharp?code=COMPANY-IDENTIFICATION-CODE&sn=SHARP-SERIAL-NUMBER

    5. Enable Extended Platform.

<datacentre> parameter in the URL should be replaced with a real value.

<lang> parameter in the URL should be replaced with a real value.

The following values are accepted: cs, en, de, es, fr, hr, hu, pl, pt-BR, nl.

  1. Scroll all the way down and click Submit.

Authetication Settings

  1. In the System Settings section, select Authentication Settings > Default Settings from the menu.

  2. Enable User Authentication.

  3. As Authentication Server Settings, select Sharp OSA.

  4. If you are using a card reader, check the "Use IC Card for Authentication" option.

  5. Scroll all the way down and click Submit.

  6. Enable the MFP: OptimiDoc Cloud application enablement.
