Xerox - Accounting configuration

OptimiDoc Cloud retrieves accounting data from devices using network accounting (JBA logs). This feature must be enabled manually.

A local installation of the OptimiDoc Cloud Node within the device network is required to provide device authentication functionality.

Installation of OCN is described in the following section: OptimiDoc Cloud Node

Device configuration

  1. Open the device web interface.

  2. Log in to the device as an administrator.

  3. Go to the Properties section.

  4. Continue to the Login Permissions/Accounting > Accounting methods tab.

  5. Click Edit Control Panel & Website Login Methods.

  6. For Current Accounting Method, select Network Accounting.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Navigate to Accounting Methods section and edit the User Accounting Prompts.

  9. Configure User Accounting Prompts according to the screenshot below:

  10. Click Save.
